Job Description The Inside Sales Showroom Representative is responsible for assisting customers in the showroom and by phone with selecting, quoting, and ordering door products. This role serves as a key point of contact for builders, contractors, designers, and homeowners, providing product knowledge, pricing information, and order support. The representative works closely with outside sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure accurate orders, timely follow-up, and exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and knowledgeable in building materials or manufactured products.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and emails from customers and prospective customers including emails
Create and distribute Site Inspections/tasks.
Get estimates for custom work and quote it for the customer.
Assist walk‑ins with tours of the showroom, questions, concerns, catalogs, stain samples, quotes, etc.
Each Showroom Salesman has a list of repeated customers that are assigned to them.
Assist with submitting door orders for customers to pick‑up from Will Call.
Offer options for jobs that can be done in more than one way.
Assist customers with information and quotes on Storm doors and Iron units.
Responsible for requesting and receiving CAD drawings from our Graphic Designers.
Complete paperwork daily for all credit card transactions.
Accurate paperwork is essential in this position and every salesman is held to this standard and will be responsible for any discrepancies.
Any additional duties as needed.
