Project Manager

A well-established industrial contractor is seeking a Project Manager to support complex industrial and infrastructure projects across the Pacific Northwest. This role will oversee project execution from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating closely with field operations, vendors, subcontractors, and clients on heavy industrial and mechanical scopes.

Projects include industrial/process facilities, hydropower, water/wastewater infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, and heavy mechanical systems. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys fast-paced construction operations, self-perform environments, and technically challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage industrial construction projects from kickoff through completion
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, forecasting, and cost tracking
  • Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders
  • Support project planning, sequencing, and scheduling activities
  • Maintain client communication and project reporting
  • Track labor, equipment, materials, and productivity
  • Assist with subcontractor management and contract administration
  • Support safety, quality control, and project documentation efforts
  • Coordinate closely with estimating and operations teams during project execution

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of construction project management experience
  • Industrial, mechanical, process piping, power, or heavy civil experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing self-perform construction projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, and cost control
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change management
  • Comfortable working in active industrial or infrastructure environments
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
