Sales Engineer

We are seeking a sales engineer to join a growing manufacturing team in Saint Paul, MN. In this role, you will work directly with customers and internal departments to review project requirements, develop cost-effective manufacturing solutions, and prepare accurate quotations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in manufacturing environments.

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Wage: $75,000 $91,000/Pre year

Hours: 6:00 AM 3:30 PM MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 12:00 PM Friday

Duties of the sales engineer:

• Review customer drawings, specifications, and RFQs to determine project requirements
• Develop and recommend cost-effective manufacturing and production solutions
• Partner with engineering, estimating, quality, and production teams to prepare accurate quotes and project plans
• Present quotations, proposals, and technical recommendations to customers
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and support
• Assist with sales initiatives, business development activities, and customer outreach efforts

Requirements of the sales engineer:

• Previous experience in sales engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience preparing quotes and proposals
• JobBOSS (ECi) software experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
