Our office is growing, and we're excited to welcome a Full-Time Dental Assistant to our friendly and supportive team! At Oak Forest Complete Dental, we're dedicated to improving oral health and helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and passionate about working with patients to support their dental health goals.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients in the waiting area and escort them to the operatory
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures as directed
- Prepare patients and rooms for dental procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile work environment following infection control protocols
- Review health histories and complete charting under dentist direction
- Take digital X-rays
- Set up trays and instruments based on the daily schedule
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Stock operatories and manage clinical supply inventory
- Track and manage lab cases
- Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment
- Assist with patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
- Follow all practice protocols including infection control, biohazards, quality assurance, emergency treatment, implants, perio programs, and referrals
- Provide patient education, reassurance, and compassionate support throughout visits
- Minimum 6 months of Dental Assistant experience
- Coronal polishing certificate preferred
- Dentrix experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Monday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM
