We’re looking for someone who aligns with our core values of Honor, Teamwork, Growth, and Excellence. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter, strong communicator, relationship builder, and lifelong learner who understands that sales is not about pressure — it’s about educating, guiding, and serving the client well.
This is a full-time, commission-based role with on-target first-year earnings between $75,000–$100,000+. First year begins with a generous base salary as the role is learned.
Responsibilities
Meet with homeowners, contractors, designers, and business owners to understand project goals and provide accurate, tailored estimates.
Build trust-based relationships by educating clients and delivering a polished, detailed proposal using company systems and pricing tools.
Document project scope, client concerns, repair needs, and job details thoroughly and accurately.
Manage company-provided leads while actively generating new business opportunities and referrals.
Follow up promptly and professionally on estimates, inquiries, client communications, and opportunities.
Achieve sales goals while maintaining a strong close rate and exceptional customer service, and participate actively in networking groups and community relationship-building opportunities.
Participate in ongoing sales, leadership, and industry training provided by Ulta Home.
Travel regularly throughout Massachusetts, typically within a 1-hour radius of
Skills & Requirements
Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in home improvement, construction, or related industries.
Experience developing detailed proposals that require precise measurements, organization, and strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Consultative sales mindset focused on educating, guiding, and empowering clients.
Active listener with strong interpersonal skills and a problem-solving mentality.
A go-getter with a high level of reliability, accountability, and initiative.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while contributing to the team.
Comfortable using CRM systems, business software, and technology tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must pass a background check.
