Must Haves
5+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Experience creating and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Strong knowledge of regression testing, functional testing, and interface testing methodologies
Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios
Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines within structured release schedules
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
What the Client Needs You to Do
Ensure software releases meet business requirements and quality expectations before deployment.
Lead testing activities throughout major releases, minor updates, and corrective patches.
Collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors, and support staff to validate system functionality and identify issues.
Produce accurate testing results, risk assessments, and go/no-go recommendations to support release decisions.
Serve as a subject matter resource for testing processes, application functionality, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), interface testing, and regression testing activities.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test scripts, test data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Review release documentation and software change requests to determine testing scope and approach.
Validate software enhancements, bug fixes, and system updates against documented requirements.
Record, track, and communicate testing results, defects, risks, and recommendations using established tools and processes.
Coordinate with technical teams to request data setup, environment changes, scheduled process execution, and other testing prerequisites.
Participate in release reviews, demonstrations, quality assessments, and post-testing evaluations.
Investigate issues independently and perform root-cause analysis prior to escalation.
Maintain and improve testing standards, procedures, documentation, and user-facing guidance materials.
Support application users and service desk teams by providing expertise on system functionality and issue resolution.
Monitor testing schedules and provide accurate effort estimates, status updates, and completion forecasts.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful release execution and deployment readiness.
Assist in validating application changes driven by regulatory updates, operational improvements, and business initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and overall software quality.
