Job Type: Regular Work Location: Best Buy 1776 – Lanham, MD 20706 Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available. Responsibilities
Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. Engage customers and create a memorable experience to drive sales. Maintain professional relationships with store management and employees. Train retail store associates on HP products and services. Keep displays clean, functional, and demo‑ready. Report sales performance and competitive insights. Accurately document and report sales and activity to Retail Operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable workstation. Assist customers by escorting them to displays, assessing needs, and suggesting suitable products. Advise customers with product and service information to build confidence. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1‑year job experience. At least 6 months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience. Tech‑savvy, problem‑solving, outgoing personality, and eagerness to learn. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training. Experience selling products while overcoming objections and connecting with customer needs. Retail or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless (plus). Training or product demonstration experience (plus). Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Capacity to maintain customer confidentiality. Benefits
