Assess local market conditions, identify sales opportunities, and develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the sales center. Manage the sales center’s financials, including budget, P&L, and expenses. Lead sales efforts, both inside and outside, coordinating multi‑channel marketing, price matrixing, promotions, and vendor partnerships. Hire, train, direct, and manage all sales center personnel including customer service, accounts receivable, and warehouse operations. Oversee accounts receivable activities such as credit management, collections, and cash management. Supervise operations, support corporate procedures, collaborate with Operations managers and buyers on inventory targets, manage non‑performing inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Drive entrepreneurial growth through product development, market expansion, complementary product marketing, and strategic planning. Perform other duties as assigned that support the sales center’s success. Qualifications
5‑7 years of experience in industrial distribution, warehousing, or a related field. Strong sales aptitude and proven ability to manage a sales team. Knowledge of industrial product lines such as concrete, pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, HVAC supplies, or auto parts. Minimum of 2 years of management experience with full P&L responsibility for a $5‑10 million operation. Experience hiring, training, and managing a staff of 10 or more employees. Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with inventory control and customer relationship management software. Must be 21 years of age or older.
