We are looking for an innovative QA engineer with a strong focus on automation. This role will design automated test suites utilizing AI and cloud‑first solutions to support our diverse nonprofit clients. Who You Are
Innovative QA engineer passionate about leveraging cutting‑edge technologies to create meaningful change, particularly in the not‑for‑profit sector. What You Will Do
Develop a thorough understanding of our software’s capabilities and identify gaps to improve client support. Create and update test cases for new and existing functionalities, ensuring thorough coverage and reliability. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our software, including integrations with APIs and third‑party applications. Develop and execute performance and load tests to meet user load and benchmark requirements. Actively participate in shaping the overall test strategy and provide constructive feedback for enhancements. Document and establish QA processes and best practices to streamline testing and improve product quality. Collaborate closely with software engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience testing web applications. Strong understanding of QA strategies and methodologies, including smoke, regression, functional, and usability testing. Proficiency in automated testing and test data generation tools and frameworks, preferably Cypress, Playwright, and K6. Proficiency in Web accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance. Experience testing GUIs, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hands‑on experience in Scrum or Kanban environments. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and proficiency in Git. Strong passion for enhancing end‑user experience and delivering valuable features to clients. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in TypeScript and/or JavaScript development. Familiar with Enterprise BI tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, and Looker. Knowledgeable about the unique needs of nonprofit and social good sectors. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Equal Opportunity & Accommodations
