I2X Technologies is seeking an Anti-Tamper Systems/Hardware Engineer
to support ongoing activities for a customer in
Colorado Springs, CO.
This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.
Coordinate with government customer Anti-tamper (AT) and program leadership on updates and/or changes to the program system
Perform Anti-Tamper Risk and Threat Management Assessments and reports
Develop the analysis process and preparation of the AT plan and provide coordination and input for near-term fielding decisions
Develop, deliver, and maintain AT Plan, AT Evaluation Plan, Key Management Plan, and the Program Protection Plan
Develop, deliver, and maintain Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, Defense Exportability Assessments, and defense export strategy
Develop, deliver, and maintain waivers for CPI, AT or defense exportability features
Assess program Anti-Tamper designs and implementation plans in support of verification and validation efforts
Develop and deliver recommendations to improve program protection while meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives
Assess program protection and Anti-Tamper designs and implementation plans in support of verification and validation efforts
Identify risk-based technical countermeasures for the protection of Critical Program Information and Critical Components
Brief Anti-Tamper and Program Protection requirements and prepare white papers and evaluations as required
Support program milestone reviews and Fielding Decisions and verify entrance criteria is satisfied by having the Anti-Tamper and Program Protection products approved
Interact with customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans
Keep senior management informed on major accomplishments, issues and concerns
Qualifications
Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelors with 9+ years experience or equivalent
Active Secret clearance
IAT Level II Certification required to start
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team of high performing individuals across a multi-site, multi-discipline organization
Ability to analyze high level needs and through a structured and logical approach to refine the need into an evolving minimum viable product (MVP) that leads to a fielded product
Excellent communications skills required (written and verbal)
Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings
Able to write and implement engineering plans within a project
Proven interaction in a team environment a mustPrevious experience should demonstrate the technical skills and position responsibilities cited here.
Previousily engineered automation pipelines to enable effective development within environments with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges which require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines
An understanding of anti-tampering and exportability concerns and how to apply secure hardware/software methodologies
Must be a self-starter who is able to initiate research and clearly document results

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
