Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Communicates to internal and external clients and coordinates event details. Fields leads from various sources, answering client questions and leading client showing for all banquet spaces. Creates sales proposals/ contracts for event space rentals and catering department services. Maintains an organizational calendar based on events contracted. Requires proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new systems. Maintains financial records including all client payments for services. Collaborates with Banquet Supervisor in event coordination and execution by providing accurate details from the client planning process. Coordinates admission and CP experience activities. Supports day‑of event hospitality and client communication. Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibilities. Leads banquet support staff as needed to provide excellent service and experience for clients and guests. Education and/or Experience
High School education or GED required. Experience in sales, banquet, catering and event management preferred. Qualifications

Other Skills and Abilities
Computer software skills required include: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A working knowledge of health and safety regulations is desired. ServSafe Food Handler certification is required. Option to complete certification once hired will be offered. A working knowledge of inventory systems is desired. The ability to speak, read and write in English is required. Spanish is desired. Physical Demands

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is exposed to working in wet or humid conditions (non‑weather), and outdoor weather conditions. The employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, in high, precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold (non‑weather), extreme heat (non‑weather), risk of electrical shock, and work with explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Conner Prairie is generally open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, this position will be required to work beyond these hours and when open for special events.
