The Inbound Supervisor is responsible for the safe movement and accurate inventory of material and will collaborate with other departments to determine material needs according to specifications, coordinate receiving procedures, and manage material movement and inventory throughout the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of raw material movement, inventory, locations, quantities, tracking and personnel. Track schedules with vendors/internal updates on incoming equipment and material. Train, coach and mentor employees in the receiving department. Prepare and manage shift schedules, workstation assignments, employee training, vacations, breaks, overtime, backups for absences and shift rotation. Ensure tracking of high‑risk/long‑lead time items and quantify them for procurement/production. Collect data and process all non‑conforming material with Quality Control and coordinate the return of non‑conforming material items to vendors. Track and update daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and reports; drive improvements in key metrics such as safety, accuracy, quality, on‑time delivery, financial performance and personnel excellence. Manage documentation and projects as assigned. Resolve material discrepancies and communicate resolutions in a timely manner. Manage requests of production orders to the appropriate personnel and communicate material discrepancies during the kitting process. Plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items either from suppliers or production shops to ensure smooth and consistent operation. Establish and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. Drive departmental approaches to eliminate waste and reduce operational expenses. Support facility and department guidelines, processes, and SOPs. Collaborate with managers and other departments to develop and modify material inventory processes and procedures. Provide input on supplier performance to materials/supply chain team leadership. Proactively manage the corrective action process by identifying and managing slow and obsolete inventory. Actively maintain 5S principles throughout the work area. Ensure proper safety procedures are followed at all times. Actively participate in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program as appropriate. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related area (Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Logistics preferred). Travel 0–10%. Work schedule: variable between 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am Monday through Friday, with nights, weekends and holidays as required. Legal & EEO
