Actalent is hiring for an Engineering Technician in the Minnetonka area! Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Experience Level: Entry Level About the Role We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support day-to-day production operations while contributing to improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and is interested in growing into more advanced technical or engineering responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Perform equipment setup, assembly, packaging preparation, and line clearance activities in accordance with approved procedures Conduct basic equipment maintenance and support routine troubleshooting efforts Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with equipment issues and minor repairs Complete and maintain accurate production and maintenance documentation Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance, to resolve issues and improve processes Support continuous improvement initiatives, including:
5S A3 problem-solving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Standard work development
Assist with new equipment installation and validation activities Maintain awareness of quality standards and potential defects in manufacturing and testing processes Demonstrate strong professionalism and teamwork in daily operations Perform additional duties as needed to support production and business needs Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools Basic knowledge of FDA, ISO, or OSHA regulations Understanding of manufacturing systems, documentation practices, inventory control, and scheduling Experience using tools such as a multimeter Key Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Basic technical troubleshooting skills Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment Work Environment This role operates in a manufacturing setting and may require hands-on interaction with equipment, tools, and production processes. This is a Contract position based out of Minnetonka, MN. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
