Customer Business Development (CBD) is the sales organization at The Magnum Ice Cream Company. CBD partners closely with customers and internal teams to create and implement joint business plans that deliver value for the customer and company. The Associate Sales Director, Walmart is fully dedicated to aggressively growing the ice‑cream business at Walmart through strategic channel growth, accelerated partnership planning, and joint business execution. Responsibilities
Establish and develop sustained business relationships and drive profitable sales volume for the ice‑cream category. Deliver sales and profit share goals while improving return on holistic customer investment in line with joint business plan targets and brand strategy. Improve in‑store and online presence by leading execution across Shopper Marketing, eCommerce, Category Management, Category Insights, Business Development, and Supply Chain. Lead a multifunctional team with one direct report (a senior sales analyst). Develop and execute joint business plans with Walmart partner teams. Manage NSV and trade investment and lead retail initiatives. Coordinate and manage corporate marketing and merchandising programs and trade marketing initiatives. Interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders while balancing individual customer needs and market integrity. Operate within approved trade marketing parameters and drive trade investment efficiency. Candidate Profile
Born leader: directs multifunctional efforts, develops and executes joint plans, manages direct reports and teams. Strategic thinker: customizes corporate programs, coordinates CD initiatives, and manages trade marketing. Results oriented: drives strategic relationships, accelerated growth, and trade investment efficiency. Dot connector: interfaces regularly with diverse stakeholders, balancing needs and market integrity. Self‑starter: thrives in ambiguity, develops new solutions, and influences change with a bias for action. Qualifications & Experience
Undergraduate degree required. 8+ years of Customer Business Manager or equivalent management experience. Walmart channel account management with CPG mandatory. Experience in omni‑channel and demonstrated eCommerce capabilities. Trade marketing and category management experience preferred. Working knowledge of Nielsen/IRI, trade promotion management and customer POS data strongly desired. Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to relate with multiple levels of management internally and externally. Strategic thinker who works effectively in a highly collaborative environment. Strong relationship building and management skills. Complexity and time‑management handling. Benefits & Compensation
