Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Manager role based in San Antonio, TX. The Sales Manager will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying new business, managing existing client relationships, and driving group, corporate, and leisure sales to meet or exceed revenue targets. Daily activities include conducting sales calls and site visits, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and accurately maintaining account information and forecasts in the CRM system. The role will collaborate closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations teams to optimize pricing, packages, and group business mix. The Sales Manager will also represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, and provide timely sales reports and market insights to leadership.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and room‑night goals.
Strong skills in prospecting, account management, and contract negotiation, including preparing proposals and closing business.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships through in‑person meetings, site inspections, presentations, and networking.
Proficiency with CI/TY required.
Solid understanding of revenue management concepts, group and transient segments, and competitive market analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional presentation skills and effective follow‑up.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with operations, revenue, and marketing teams to achieve shared goals.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service focus aligned with a people‑centric hospitality culture.
Ability to work on‑site in San Antonio, TX, with flexibility to attend events, client meetings, and occasional evening or weekend functions.
