Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in consumer or developer product management.
Experience building and scaling developer-facing products or tools.
Experience with data analysis and modeling to inform product decisions.
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders such as Engineering, UX, Data Science, and Trust and Safety.
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
Experience in the games and gaming industry.
Experience working with or on Trust and Safety and content moderation frameworks.
Understanding of the creator, viewer, and player experience on the YouTube platform.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence product strategy at scale.
Responsibilities
Drive the strategy and roadmap for game publishing on YouTube, including support for new content categories such as multiplayer games.
Build and scale tools for game creators to test, publish, and optimize their games using analytics and AI-powered performance insights.
Manage requirements for game review and certification to ensure a high-quality and safe experience for all players.
Work closely with YouTube Trust and Safety to define and implement safety standards for game content.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Engineering, UX, Data Science) to refine the developer platform and player engagement features.
Benefits US: $163,000 - $237,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
