Esposito Law LLC, a respected Burr Ridge law firm serving the Chicagoland area, seeks an Associate Attorney with a focus on executive and business representation, including litigation. The firm's Litigation Practice spans Federal District and Appellate courts as well as Illinois State Circuit and Appellate Courts in Cook, DuPage, Will, Kane, and Lake counties, offering a balanced mix of federal and state court work. The office is conveniently located with immediate access to I-55 and I-294, supporting minimal travel requirements and primarily office-based responsibilities. Responsibilities Provide litigation support and assist with trial preparation Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents Manage discovery processes and coordinate case management Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and court personnel Collaborate within the team and work independently as needed Participate in court proceedings with minimal travel Required Qualifications Proficient in MS Word and Westlaw legal research tools Strong legal research skills Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents Exceptional written and oral communication abilities Capability to work both independently and in a team environment Some general office operational experience Experience assisting attorneys with litigation processes including trial preparation Preferred but not required: Some prior court experience, federal court experience considered a plus Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of legal practice experience Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in Illinois Proficiency in legal research and litigation support Experience with pleadings, motions, and discovery drafting Trial preparation experience Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team
