The Township of Kalamazoo is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Information Technology Manager to lead the planning, security, administration, and strategic development of the Township’s technology systems and infrastructure. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations that support all Township departments, including Police, Fire, and Administration.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, security, and administration of the Township’s technology systems and infrastructure.
Supervise two Information Technology Analysts and serve as the Township’s primary technology advisor.
Oversee network and server infrastructure, cybersecurity and CJIS compliance, enterprise software systems, vendor management, disaster recovery planning, technology procurement, and IT project implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible information technology experience.
Previous public sector experience required.
Valid Michigan Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Salary & Benefits
Starting salary: $104,984 annually
Higher starting salary may be considered based on demonstrated qualifications and experience.
