Role Description The Construction Sales Engineer is responsible for selling low- and medium-voltage power distribution and power control solutions within the Memphis construction market. The role includes developing and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with electrical contractors and distributor partners, providing guidance on the application and use of electrical distribution equipment in construction projects, and delivering subject‑matter expertise on Siemens products and systems. The position requires a visible market presence and support of distribution channel partners to drive market share growth.
Develop and forecast contractor opportunities using Siemens CRM (SieSales).
Sell products such as panelboards, switchboards, medium‑voltage gear, lighting panels, low‑voltage switchgear, busway, motor control centers, molded case circuit breakers, IEC/NEMA control, safety switches, and residential products.
Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by uncovering new opportunities, following up on leads, and managing existing customers.
Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts to exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
Build long‑term relationships with senior management at key distribution and contractor accounts.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering is strongly desired; a combination of high school education and directly related work experience is also acceptable.
Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with low‑ or medium‑voltage power distribution product lines.
Ability to travel 5% of the time.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
At least 21 years of age to participate in the required vehicle plan.
Legal authorization to work in the United States without future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering.
Experience selling to electrical contractors.

The pay range for this position is $74,970.00 – $156,794.00 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. Actual compensation may vary based on budget, candidate experience, and geographic location.
