Job Overview
The Sales Planner is an integral part of the everyday sales process. Working closely with an Account Executive, the role involves identifying advertising solutions for customers, ensuring smooth execution of sales proposals, and collaborating with internal creative departments and clients to develop effective advertising campaigns. Partner with Account Executive on all facets of client relations, including proposal completion, media plans and revenue objectives. Manage and complete winning RFPs in a timely manner. Select OUTFRONT Media assets to amplify clients’ campaigns, products and brand stories. Master inventory knowledge of 2-3 DMAs and continually grow knowledge about other markets and top DMAs. Properly qualify projects to maximize an efficient sales cycle. Up‑sell and leverage business from new and established customer relationships. Collaborate with internal creative department and clients to assist in development of effective advertising campaigns. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree. 2+ years’ experience in OOH advertising and media sales preferred. Ability to work under tight project deadlines. Understanding of existing business processes and capability to spearhead cross‑functional sales team efforts. Capability to link vision and strategy with overall business objectives and communicate rationale effectively. Strong skills in scheduling, prioritizing, organizing, planning, problem solving, decision making, financial savvy and attention to detail. Self‑motivated, sales‑focused, action‑and‑results oriented. Well‑organized with exceptional communication and presentation skills; effective communicator to groups of all sizes and levels of management. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Strong analytic capabilities and goal orientation with enthusiasm for the media and OOH industries. Compensation
The salary range for this role is $65,000-$70,000 per year. The role is also eligible for incentive compensation. Compensation is determined during the interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
