This is a territory‑based Area Sales Representative role that requires the candidate to reside within the state of NewMexico. The role is remote‑based with local travel; approximately 30% of the time may involve overnight travel. The applicant will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with small‑to‑mid‑size retail partners and driving adoption of our lease‑to‑own technology. Responsibilities
Sell Progressive Leasing’s product and value to retail partners so that they actively market our solutions to their customers. Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners, demonstrating key performance indicators, integration capabilities with the retailer’s POS, and available point‑of‑purchase marketing materials to increase our balance of share. Manage the sales pipeline within your assigned area and achieve company objectives through effective planning, goal attainment, and thorough follow‑up on partner needs. Collaborate with the head of sales leadership, the marketing department, and internal product management teams to pursue new leads, expand the customer base, and ensure partner needs are met. Identify new retail partners in the area who could benefit from our product and services, and secure contracts with them. Build and maintain relationships with existing partners to drive margin and improve operational efficiency. Negotiate contractual agreements with new and existing retail partners. Drive long‑term results by building advocacy through in‑store training, one‑on‑one meetings, and successful onboarding. Resolve compliance cases by implementing and enforcing policies. Maintain a clean driving record as defined in the Drivers Safety Policy and use a personal vehicle for local travel, with mileage reimbursement provided. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (equivalent work experience may be substituted). 3–5years of experience in retail sales, field sales, sales training, and/or account management. 3–5years of experience in cold calling, hunting, or prospecting new B2C or B2B opportunities. Demonstrated experience exceeding quota and impacting growth, preferably in a retail environment. Ability to interact professionally with strong business acumen and exceptional organizational and time‑management skills. Superior interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Moderate‑level experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce. Previous experience training others (preferred). Strong work ethic, high initiative, and interest in modern technology and software applications. Strategic thinking with the ability to create detailed business plans for account growth. Refined presentation skills and comfort addressing large groups. Ability to analyze data to identify sales and growth opportunities within the market. Benefits
