Role Description This full-time, on-site Route Sales Representative role is based in Richmond, VA. The Route Sales Representative is responsible for servicing an assigned route, including delivering Frito-Lay products to retail customers, merchandising shelves, rotating stock, and setting up displays to maximize product visibility and sales. This role includes managing inventory levels, processing orders, and ensuring accurate delivery documentation. The Route Sales Representative builds and maintains strong relationships with store managers and staff, addresses customer inquiries, and identifies opportunities for additional sales. The position may require early morning start times, lifting and moving products, and safely operating company vehicles in compliance with all safety and driving regulations.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities to interact effectively with store personnel and internal teams.
Basic sales, merchandising, and retail experience, with the ability to identify opportunities to increase product visibility and volume.
Solid time management, organization, and problem-solving skills to manage a route and multiple customer stops each day.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move products and equipment as required for stocking and merchandising.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to safely operate company vehicles.
High school diploma or equivalent; prior route sales, delivery, or warehouse experience is a plus.
Comfort working independently, making decisions on the route, and adapting to changing priorities or customer needs.
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet customer and route requirements.
