St. Joseph s Health Hospital is seeking
two (2) full time Advanced Practice Providers (NP or PA)
to join their
Cardiac Surgery ICU / Step Down Team . This opportunity is available due to an
employee resignation
and offers consistent weekday hours in a collaborative critical care environment. Coverage Dates
June 1 October 2 ️ Schedule
Monday Friday Day/Evening shifts 40 hours minimum per week May increase to
up to 50 hours/week
based on service needs No OR coverage required Practice Setting
Inpatient
ICU and step down unit coverage Adult patient population Average daily workload:
Up to
10 notes per day Phone coverage for all inpatients
Scope & Responsibilities
Non operative cardiac surgery ICU role Autonomous APP practice with strong physician support Supervising physicians and
Critical Care physicians onsite Procedures include: Central line placement Arterial line placement Chest tube placement Chest tube removal Wound vac changes Ideal Candidate Profile
Open to
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ICU / Critical Care experience required Cardiac critical care experience preferred Inpatient medicine with
cardiology focus highly desirable Comfortable working autonomously in an acute care setting Technology
EMR: Epic ️ Credentialing
