Senior Project Manager

A well established MEP consulting firm with a strong New York presence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex building projects throughout the NYC market.

This role is designed for an experienced PM who wants full ownership. You will act as the prime consultant, manage multidisciplinary teams, and serve as the central point of accountability for clients, consultants, and internal engineering groups. The firm trusts senior leaders to run work thoughtfully and gives them the latitude to do it well.

You will oversee multiple projects across commercial, academic, and life sciences sectors, guiding teams from early pursuit through delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as prime consultant and managing architects and subconsultants
• Leading client relationships and high level project communications
• Managing scope, schedules, budgets, and delivery milestones
• Overseeing quality control, deliverables, and deadlines
• Supporting proposals, fee development, and pursuit strategy
• Coordinating across internal MEP disciplines

Extensive project management experience in an A/E consulting environment

Experience managing commercial, academic, or life sciences projects

Comfort acting as prime consultant and managing outside partners

Strong client facing communication and presentation skills

Experience with proposals, fee development, and project financials

Working knowledge of BIM and Revit environments

Degree in engineering or architecture preferred
