As a Data Cloud Sales Specialist Manager, you will lead a team responsible for growing our Data business by building and expanding relationships with new and existing customers. You will effectively build relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, supporting the team to do the same. You will ensure your team has the necessary selling skills to demonstrate product functionality and comprehensive overviews of key business use cases, and close business. You will support a positive, high-performing, and team culture, while leading with empathy and identifying innovative ways to multiply the impact of the team as a whole to drive overall value for Google Cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and high-performing team culture, supporting your team to drive pipelines, manage business cycles from lead generation to customer onboarding, and meet and exceed sales goals.
- Lead and implement Go-to-Market propositions in a given business sector, pulling together Marketing, Demand Management, Solutions, and Product and Engineering teams to produce a focused value proposition.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, cross functional teams and Marketing resources to provide input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them to maximize Google Cloud Platform in a given team.
- Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term direction, and act as a trusted advisor to the customer.
- Establish GCP as the definitive thought leader in the startup community by speaking at high-profile startup events, hosting developer roundtables, our goals for the Agentic Data Cloud.
