Coverage Needed

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: December 2026
• Schedule: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • One Sunday rotation every 6 weeks - will be for less than 8 hours

Clinical Details

• EMR: TechCare
• Coverage Type: Inpatient
• Coverage of patients in acute mental health units
• Support Staff: Nursing, APPs, and psychiatrists
• Patient Population: Adults with acute mental health symptoms
• Current Incarceration Population: 1,800 patients
• Average of 30 patients in the unit - not all patients need to be seen daily; based on acuity of needs
• Sunday rounding on acute male & female patients and assessing any critical patients (numbers vary)

Requirements

• Board Eligible
• BLS Required
• ACLS Preferred
• Active PA License or IMLC
• Minimum Commitment: Full Time
