Anesthesiology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a leading cardiovascular program in Albany, New York . • Provide anesthesia care for adult cardiac and major thoracic surgical procedures
• Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations and risk assessments
• Administer and manage general anesthesia for:
  • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
  • Valve repair and replacement
  • Aortic surgery
  • Structural heart procedures
  • Minimally invasive and robotic cardiac procedures
• Perform and interpret perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
• Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular support
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, perfusionists, and nursing teams
• Participate in postoperative critical care management as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with quality and safety standards

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency
• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology preferred
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Certification or eligibility for Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (PTEeXAM/NBE) preferred
• Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in New York
• DEA certification (or eligibility)
