Über
Accurately order tests from outpatient orders and manage reports. Ensure correct patient identity using two patient identifiers. Perform tests within standardized time frames and check images for technical quality. Explain procedures to patients and families, addressing fears and questions. Assess work needs and prioritize tasks in the assigned work area. Maintain safe working knowledge of imaging equipment and follow safety procedures. Complete routine maintenance and cleaning of department equipment. Participate in performance improvement activities.
Current ARRT (R) certification required. Current IEMA Radiography license required. BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiography, Mammography, CT scanning, and operative C-arm procedures is preferred. Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate EMR programs.
