About the Role Improvix Technologies is seeking a collaborative, solutions‑driven Business Analyst to join our fast‑paced Federal IT program. In this role, you'll partner directly with senior project managers, product owners, and government stakeholders to transform complex business needs into actionable user stories that drive real results.
You'll serve as both analyst and Scrum Master, ensuring each sprint delivers value to the mission by removing roadblocks, refining requirements, and helping technical teams stay aligned with customer goals. What You'll Do
Engage regularly with senior government officials to understand business priorities and shape technical solutions.
Translate customer needs into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
Partner closely with developers, engineers, and testers to ensure full understanding of functional and technical requirements.
Facilitate sprint ceremonies and demos to ensure alignment, transparency, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with SMEs to develop and refine Knowledge Base Articles, SOPs, User Guides, and training materials.
Track project activities, identify risks, and propose innovative process improvements to boost performance.
Support project documentation including status reports, risk registers, and release notes with precision and clarity.
Help drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, sprint retrospectives, and proactive communication.
What You Bring
35 years of experience supporting Federal IT programs in a business analysis or functional analyst role.
Hands‑on experience with Agile frameworks and tools (especially Jira).
Proven ability to capture, refine, and communicate requirements across technical and non‑technical audiences.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
Exceptional communication and documentation skills; ability to make complex information accessible.
Experience with Palantir Foundry a plus (not required).
