Responsibilities
Coordinate and own multiple projects from kickoff to field implementation, interact with clients regularly, and communicate effectively with all team members
Develop story‑driven marketing narratives that guide HCP audiences with clear, compelling, and strategically aligned messaging
Embrace new ideas; think strategically to develop concepts, solutions, and messaging in collaboration with other Payer Sciences team members
Understand agency process and best practices, including time management and attention to detail
Digest scientific data/information and interpret its application for formulary decision‑makers or other healthcare professionals
Ensure deliverables are properly prepared for submission to medical/legal/regulatory review, including referencing, annotating, and adherence to regulatory requirements
Present and sell work internally and to clients effectively
Maintain knowledge of a variety of therapeutic categories
Participate in idea generation and brainstorming at an individual and group level
Work in a fast‑paced, team environment and adhere to timelines/deadlines
Contribute to the growth and management of relationships with clients, freelancers, and other vendors
Leverage emerging AI‑enabled creative tools to strategically elevate concepts and expand creative capabilities across projects
Qualifications
BA/BS degree with coursework emphasis in English, journalism, communications, or a science (preferred)
2‑4+ years of agency pharma copywriting experience or equivalent
Openness to emerging AI‑enabled creative tools and capability to apply them to enhance creative output
Experience writing for payer/managed markets audiences (preferred)
Professional maturity, integrity, discipline, and a positive attitude
Flexible and collaborative style
Demonstrated ability to produce a variety of marketing communications materials, both digital and print
Experience with current communications technology and media channels; digital media experience a plus
Self‑motivated to work independently
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Interest in managing or mentoring junior writers (preferred)

Compensation Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 – USD $129,987.00 annually.
