Daily Position Responsibilities
Develop and maintain proprietary databases, reports, and monitors.
Analyze and improve existing code to enhance performance and value.
Work with mathematical modeling and algorithmic development.
Analyze loan information for securitization deals, whole loan transactions, and warehouse facilities.
Manage information for a variety of financial assets, providing analysis and reporting for warehouse financing, securitizations, and corporate advisory projects.
Collaborate with senior investment banking officers, senior financial quants, portfolio managers, and back‑office operation teams.
Basic Qualifications
Strong Excel, VBA, and Database SQL skills.
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other related technical majors (required).
Recent graduate from a financial engineering school or 1‑3 years of comparable experience in a financial institution.
Ability to work in a high‑pressure, dynamic investment banking environment.
Team player who can interact effectively with team members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of R, Python, and advanced programming languages is an asset.
Understanding of financial models, statistical analysis, and simulation.
Education Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
