Location & Compensation Chicago Glue and Machine – Itasca, IL
Full‑time (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm CST)
Salary: $50,000 – $75,000 per year (other compensation may apply)

Role Overview The Inside Sales Business Development Associate plays a critical role in driving growth by managing inbound sales inquiries, developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and supporting outside sales representatives.
Responsibilities are split approximately: 70% phone/video calls, email, CRM; 20% key account management in territories without physical presence; 10% travel for customer meetings, trade shows, training, or internal collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries in a timely, professional manner
Qualify inbound leads and route opportunities appropriately among business development and sales teams
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
Maintain and expand the company’s prospect and customer database
Own accurate and timely CRM updates including notes, activities, opportunity stages, and next steps
Conduct outbound prospecting to identify new business opportunities
Manage a defined territory or group of key accounts supported remotely
Identify customer needs and position CGM products, services, and technical expertise accordingly
Research accounts, industries, and market trends to support sales and marketing efforts
Support quoting, follow up, and coordination with internal teams as needed
Use and follow tools and processes within the Quality Management System
Support marketing initiatives such as trade shows, campaigns, blog content, or customer outreach
Leverage, follow, and continuously improve CGM’s sales process
