We are seeking a skilled
Lead
HVAC Installer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of HVAC systems and equipment while ensuring projects are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Install residential and commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and controls Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications Ensure installations meet code requirements, safety standards, and company quality expectations Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure successful project completion Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues as needed Qualifications 10+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential and/or commercial) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and applicable codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents EPA certification required; additional licenses or certifications a plus Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Professional communication and teamwork skills What We Offer Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits Medical, Dental and Vision insurance covered by employer Employee Stock Ownership Program Ongoing training Company vehicle, tools, gas and uniforms provided Opportunities for career advancement Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork, safety and excellence Company Description American Mechanical Services (AMS) is one of the nation's leading providers of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance, repair, replacement, and new equipment installation, as well as plumbing and related services.
