Job Summary Locations: Houston, TX; Boston, MA (Hybrid) Reports to: Sr. Director, Business Applications
As a Staff Salesforce Developer at Conga, you’ll be the technical anchor for our Salesforce platform—owning solution design, development, and platform strategy across Sales Cloud and the broader Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. You’ll partner across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and IT, building scalable, high‑performing solutions that drive revenue operations. From data models and integrations to automation and governance, you’ll help ensure Salesforce remains a reliable, efficient, and future‑ready platform for the business.
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support the full customer lifecycle. • Lead technical design discussions, provide clear guidance, and mentor team members. • Ensure platform performance, scalability, and maintainability through thoughtful architecture. • Build and support complex integrations with ERP, billing, marketing automation, and customer success platforms using middleware such as Workato or MuleSoft. • Define and enforce DevOps standards, including CI/CD, source control, release management, and sandbox strategies. • Develop governance, security frameworks, and automation strategies to accelerate Quote‑to‑Cash processes. • Collaborate cross‑functionally to translate business needs into well‑architected solutions.
Qualifications
5–8+ years of building and scaling Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.
Deep expertise in Sales Cloud, including Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Forecasting, Quotes, Orders, and renewals.
Hands‑on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, APIs, and asynchronous processing.
Strong solution‑design skills with a focus on performance, scalability, and long‑term maintainability.
Experience designing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
Experience in a structured Salesforce DevOps environment (CI/CD, source control, release management).
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting Quote‑to‑Cash processes with CPQ, CLM, or similar platforms, ideally with Conga products.
Architectural perspective that balances short‑term needs with long‑term scalability.
Commitment to quality through code reviews, testing practices, and defect reduction.
Collaborative, resourceful mindset that elevates technical maturity across teams.
Benefits Competitive U.S. base salary range: $158,920 – $254,270 USD. In addition to base salary, Conga offers variable incentive pay, flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.
