Primary Medicine PA Adult Outpatient Preventive Care Job ID: BS20799 Location: Seattle (Renton, WA (King County Seattle Metro) Setting: Community Behavioral Health Center Adult Outpatient Health & Wellness Start Date: ASAP Schedule: 2 days per week, ideally Monday & Tuesday (flexible) Hours: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. onsite ( min lunch) Onsite Only: Yes EMR: Athena Contract Type: Ongoing long term contractor position Opportunity Overview A community-based behavioral health and wellness center in Renton, WA is seeking an experienced Primary Care PA to provide adult-only outpatient preventive care and chronic disease management. This role supports continuity of care for an adult population within a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The schedule begins at 2 days per week, with the potential to expand based on patient care needs and provider productivity. Ideal days are Monday and Tuesday, but the center can be flexible. Patient Population: Adults only (18+) Daily Volume: patients per day Clinical Focus:
Preventive health services Chronic illness management (HTN, diabetes, COPD, etc.) Wellness and health maintenance Integrated care within a behavioral health setting
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive adult outpatient preventive care Manage chronic medical conditions Maintain a daily caseload of patients Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team focused on whole-person wellness Document and coordinate care using Athena EMR Maintain high-quality, patient-centered clinical standards Requirements
Active Washington PA license (or ability to obtain) Family Medicine background strongly preferred Experience in adult outpatient primary care and chronic disease management Prior work in community-based or integrated care settings preferred Strong communication skills and comfort with electronic health records
