Delaware Nation Industries is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Research Analyst to support the Air National Guard Plans, Programs and Requirements Directorate (NGB/A8). The Air National Guard strategic planning processes enable a Guard force that is capable and sustainable as a cost-effective element of national security. Responsibilities include: Planning and executing procedures for requesting, review, acceptance, storage, retrieval, updating and dissemination of cost, programmatic and technical data. Designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines, enterprise data warehouses, and architecture to support advanced analytics and operations research. Performing a broad range of operations research analysis functions to examine unique problems through creativity, innovative techniques, advanced approaches, and/or new technologies. Providing data science, data engineering, and architecture expertise, advisory support and assistance to Air National Guard programs, projects, and operations. Developing and maintaining data models, data integration frameworks, and enterprise data architecture to ensure optimal data quality, reliability, and security. Attending meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars. Maintaining proficiency through participation in technical and professional societies, associations, academia, symposia, research, and training. Researching, writing, and presenting complex data analysis results in an understandable format for senior leaders and decision makers. Technical data visualization products may be in the form of reports, informational graphics, and/or briefings. Informing Air National Guard studies, analysis, and lessons learned. Collaborating across directorates to synchronize datasets and reporting, ensuring seamless data interoperability and establishing robust data governance.
