Conduct large load and generation interconnection studies, applying NERC, FERC, ISO/RTO, and TSP requirements Develop and validate steady state and dynamic models using ETAP, PSSE, PSS E, and PSCAD for various energy resources Lead Control Hardware-in-the-Loop (CHIL) testing and support microgrid design and control studies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Systems preferred 5+ years of relevant experience in power systems planning and interconnection Strong expertise in PSCAD/RSCAD EMT modeling and PPC/MPC control strategies Experience with large load interconnection studies, particularly in data centers Familiarity with NERC, FERC, ISO/RTO, and TSP requirements for generation and large load interconnections
