What You'll Do Provide anesthesia services for outpatient and inpatient surgeries, including general and regional anesthesia (regional skills preferred) Cover high acuity cases (ASA 3+), supporting both operating rooms and occasional regional procedures Float between multiple sister facilities: Bay Front, Mt. Zion, Mission Bay, Ortho Institute, Parnassus, Burlingame Work with anesthesia staff, including CRNAs, with occasional collaboration or oversight Support adult and adolescent patients (13+ years), primarily in hospital OR settings Perform duties independently within a supportive multidisciplinary team
What You Need California Medical License with DEA and Schedule 2/2n registration Board Certified or eligible (fellowship-trained candidates considered) Recent (last 2+ years) anesthesiology experience at tertiary care centers Strong knowledge of general anesthesia and regional anesthesia (preferred) Ability to work solo, manage high-acuity cases, and float between facilities Trauma experience strongly preferred
About the Assignment This position provides hospital OR coverage with a variety of general surgeries and regional procedures across a renowned healthcare system. Providers will be supported by experienced CRNA staff and required to support both inpatient and outpatient settings.
