Information Security Manager

Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Manager. This individual will be expected to achieve success by leading the team and the business to mitigate risk to Wells Fargo.

Maintaining awareness of third-party oversight requirements

Ensures that third party service providers processes are executed in accordance with planned objectives and within Wells Fargo policies

Ensures third party service provider reviews as completed by risk level, which includes appropriate oversight and visibility for critical service providers.

Develop reports as a means of communication with both third party service providers and technology leadership, which relays the level of performance as well as department activity.

Directs remediation plans as appropriate to correct deviation from established standards and objectives

Appropriately identifying escalating and addressing issues, when necessary

Building strong partnership and collaborating effectively with Supply Chain Management (SCM), Third Party Program (TPP), Group Third Party Officers (GTPO), and other technology risk team members to ensure appropriate oversight and governance of third party service providers.

In this role, you will:

Manage and develop a team of individual contributors with low to moderate complexity and risk

Provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business

Maintain an advanced awareness of bank security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security

Identify security risks and solutions for networks and virtual private network applications, security tools, public key infrastructures, authentication and directory services, and access management services

Address vulnerability detection, threat data, network intrusion, development, and implementation of vulnerability mitigation strategies

Formulate and implement information security solutions and controls

Make decisions and resolve issues regarding changes to information security policy, standards, and procedures as needed for systems, applications, and tools

Recommend compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

Lead complex projects and initiatives impacting one or more business lines

Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers

Lead team to achieve objectives

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Information Security Analysis

Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

2+ years of Leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

4+ years of vendor management experience

Ability to create and improve process through strategic thinking

Experience driving and leading organizational change in a dynamic environment

Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

Strong relationship management skills

Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Familiarity with third-party risk regulatory requirements and industry practices

Strong understanding of third party management principles and practices

Management experience in large corporation, multi-line business organizations

Experience articulating issues, risk, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management

Demonstrated effective written and verbal communications skills

Lead a team that interfaces with third party service providers on an ongoing basis to ensure adherence Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations

Pay Range

$138,500.00 - $287,600.00 Annual
