About the role: As a Principal Project Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for procurement activities for the Ogden large capital project. You will lead the purchase of all specialized capital equipment, materials and services required to support the project. The scope will include the negotiation, award, and management of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor which will build the facility infrastructure. You will coordinate with all Supply Chain pillars, including Supplier Performance Engineering and Operations, to ensure that they complete and deliver the full supply chain scope observing project schedule requirements. You will report to the US PPM Manager and be located at our Ogden, UT location. Anchor work schedule - 5 days on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams.
  • Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers and establish a communication channel towards the suppliers.
  • Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements.
  • Preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services.
  • Evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements.
  • Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and partners while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.
  • Use the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures.
  • Lead Contract preparation and purchasing process.
  • Manages supply and supplier commitments after making a purchase order or contract, including managing change and contract.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of project procurement experience and including min 5 years of complex value project management. 5+ years' experience within procurement in complex projects preferably engineering, procurement, and construction projects, with a focus on procurement Experience with vendor purchase order issuance, execution and administration

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $90,000 to $112,500 per year.
