Overview The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to design, evangelize, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions for customers, applying generative AI to solve real‑world problems.
Key Job Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, secure AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer needs.
Develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve business problems, conduct experiments, and optimize performance at scale.
Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high‑value AI/ML use cases, gather requirements, and propose strategies.
Provide technical guidance on responsible, cost‑efficient AI/ML practices and troubleshoot throughout project delivery.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on AI/ML advancements and emerging technologies.
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, reusable artifacts, and prototype new technologies.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling, data‑analysis tools, and performance tuning.
Experience in professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
Active US Government security clearance of TS/SCI.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or above in STEM.
Experience on multi‑team, cross‑disciplinary projects.
Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and application to reasoning and problem‑solving.
Experience defining and creating benchmarks for GenAI model performance.
Experience with Python, SQL/NoSQL, and API development for AI/ML solutions.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and generative AI frameworks.
Benefits The base salary range is $131,300.00 – $177,600.00 USD annually. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
