Position Overview The Center for Health Equity is seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily clinical operations and delivering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. Key Responsibilities
Assist healthcare providers before and during patient examinations and procedures. Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and promote patient safety. Prepare examination and treatment rooms by organizing and positioning instruments, equipment, and supplies. Interview patients to obtain and document information regarding the reason for the visit, symptoms, health concerns, and medical history. Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications Education
High School Diploma or GED required Experience Completion of a Medical Assistant curriculum and/or a minimum of one (1) year of related Medical Assistant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
This position requires travel between multiple work locations as needed to support operational and patient care needs. Additional Information
