None / Not Required. What You Will Do
Work and collaborate with the Lead Illustrator and Lead SW Engineer to manage production programs, ensuring workflow is produced efficiently and exploring future process improvements via new software offerings. Collaborate with Technical Writers and the team leader to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. Manage and interpret incoming job requests, verbal instructions, and design briefs into production‑ready drawings. Develop flat, ISO, and JPEG technical illustrations from engineering source data and/or redline markups provided by Technical Writers via AutoCAD and Adobe. Maintain organized drawing files and version control for multiple concurrent projects. What You Will Learn
Gain hands‑on experience with every element that goes into creating the schematics, illustrations, and visual assets used in our Technical Manuals. Discover how high‑quality artwork drives the effectiveness of technical manuals—and build skills in a field that’s constantly evolving with new tools, techniques, and illustration technologies. Qualifications
University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field. Experience with SolidWorks and Adobe Photoshop. Experience with AutoCAD, including CAD Interpretation, Exploded Views, and 3D Rendering. Experience with engineering or technical drawings in both 3D and line art schematics. Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and reporting. Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical drafting principles. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and correct inconsistencies. Ability to interpret detailed verbal or written instructions and follow standard procedures. Desire to lead the team in production methods and adapt to future production requirements.
