Job Description We are seeking a
Systems Administrator
to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization’s core IT infrastructure, including Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, cloud services, identity management solutions, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
You will collaborate with infrastructure engineers, security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of enterprise systems while contributing to automation initiatives and infrastructure modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and support Windows Server environments and enterprise infrastructure systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, security groups, user permissions, print services, and related access controls.
Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, licensing, mailbox administration, user access management, and troubleshooting.
Manage identity and access management (IAM) processes, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, SSO, MFA, authentication troubleshooting, and identity integrations.
Support and administer VMware vSphere environments, including virtual machines, hosts, clusters, resource allocation, snapshots, and performance monitoring.
Provide operational support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies, including VMware Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
Support backup, recovery, patch management, security controls, and business continuity initiatives.
Assist with enterprise storage administration, capacity planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Administer Azure infrastructure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, RBAC, and cloud services.
Provide operational support for SQL Server environments, including monitoring, backup verification, job review, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, APIs, and related tools to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests while documenting activities, troubleshooting efforts, and system changes.
Collaborate with vendors, internal IT teams, and business users on infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology improvements.
Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of Systems Administration experience in an enterprise environment.
Strong experience administering:
Windows Server
Active Directory
Group Policy
Microsoft 365 / Office 365
VMware vSphere
Experience supporting backup and recovery systems and implementing infrastructure security best practices.
Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Experience troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, and identity-related issues.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week every four weeks).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Experience with identity and access management technologies, including:
Okta
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Single Sign-On (SSO)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
PKI
Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)
Experience with infrastructure automation, APIs, and configuration management tools such as:
PowerShell
Microsoft Graph
Ansible
Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, observability, and logging platforms such as:
Zabbix
Sumo Logic
Similar monitoring technologies
Experience supporting:
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
VMware Horizon
FSLogix
Azure infrastructure services
SQL Server high-availability solutions
Enterprise storage platforms
Exposure to CI/CD workflows and modern infrastructure operations practices.
Experience supporting hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments.
Work Environment & Location
Location:
[Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite – Based on Client Requirements]
On-Call Rotation:
Approximately one week every four weeks.
