DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and embed asset management best practices within the organization to continuously improve the asset management capability.
Interact with asset owners, maintenance technicians, and contractors to collect maintenance, performance, and asset condition data.
Develop assessment criteria for verifying the condition of assets; monitor maintenance procedures; establish criteria for component change‑out intervals.
Author, analyze, and interpret asset‑level condition and performance reports and resource‑needs projections.
Conduct asset condition assessments.
Perform all other job‑related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience analyzing and evaluating business processes and data, preferably in physical asset management. Knowledge of physical asset management principles, asset cost, risk and performance, and asset decay modeling is preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in data mining.
Minimum of three years of experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems or Maintenance Reporting Systems (MRS).
Must obtain or have the ability to obtain a certification in Asset Management from the Institute of Asset Management within two years of hire date and a Diploma in Asset Management within five years of obtaining the certificate.
Ability to translate mathematical information into concise reports.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Sound judgment.
Time‑management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks with attention to detail.
Flexibility to work non‑standard days and hours as needed.
Equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities accepted.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent standing, walking, and sitting; occasional walking on even and uneven rocky terrain; use of hands for touching, handling, and feeling; frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, moving trains, electrical shock, and vibration; occasional wet or humid conditions, high or precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, explosives, and radiation risk; moderate to high noise levels in some environments.

COMPENSATION Pay Range: $92,003.00 – $129,954.50 per year.
