High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in coordinating or scheduling inspections, preferably in fire safety or building maintenance. Basic understanding of fire alarm and sprinkler systems and relevant fire safety codes. Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Fire Science, Facilities Management, or a related field. Certification in fire protection or safety (e.g., NICET certification). Experience working with fire safety regulatory agencies and understanding of NFPA standards. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Customer service experience in a technical or safety-related environment.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate fire alarm and sprinkler system inspections across multiple client sites to ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements. Communicate with inspection technicians, clients, and regulatory agencies to confirm inspection appointments and resolve any scheduling conflicts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, including reports, certifications, and any identified issues or corrective actions. Track inspection deadlines and follow up on outstanding inspections or maintenance to ensure no compliance lapses occur. Assist in preparing documentation and reports for audits and regulatory reviews related to fire safety inspections. Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize and address any deficiencies found during inspections. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns regarding inspection schedules and results.
