As a Direct Sales Representative, you will be responsible for engaging residential customers through door‑to‑door interactions to promote and sell our internet and phone services. This role is highly target‑driven and requires persistence, product knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Location Southeast Iowa (Burlington, Keokuk, Mt. Pleasant & Fort Madison)
What You’ll Do
Conduct door‑to‑door sales presentations for internet, phone, and cable services, promoting any one or combination of these offerings to prospective customers within the assigned neighborhoods.
Consistently achieve assigned installed sales quotas, focusing on the number of sales, net contribution per sale, and monthly recurring revenue generated.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process.
Maximize opportunities for customers to purchase internet, phone, and cable services.
Deliver accurate and comprehensive information while effectively communicating the value of products and services, tailoring sales approaches based on customer profiles and available options.
Present product details, service plans, rates, installation fees, promotional campaigns, and special offers clearly, concisely, and professionally.
Uphold and promote a positive company image in all customer interactions and public engagements.
Meet or exceed departmental productivity standards by maximizing subscriber acquisition.
Submit all sales documentation and collected payments promptly and accurately.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and results, providing timely updates to supervisors regarding any challenges or issues encountered.
Follow up promptly on leads, inquiries, complaints, and other communications to ensure customer concerns are addressed.
Honor scheduled customer appointments consistently.
Participate actively in all required meetings, training sessions, and development programs.
Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer availability and business needs.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
At least one year of sales experience
Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a driving record that allows employee to be insured by ImOn’s insurance carrier
Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., email, CRM tools, data entry)
Must have the flexibility to work non‑standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet or exceed sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
Telecommunications/Utility industry experience
