A growing investment management firm is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its technology team in Greenwich, CT. This individual will provide hands‑on support across desktop systems, end‑user technologies, infrastructure projects, and vendor coordination while serving as a key point of contact for employees across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand beyond traditional desktop support and gain exposure to systems administration, cloud technologies, networking, and enterprise infrastructure initiatives within a fast‑paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day desktop support in a predominantly Windows‑based environment
Manage and track user requests through the ticketing system while ensuring timely resolution
Support Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, Active Directory, and Azure environments
Assist with user onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning, and access management
Partner with external vendors and managed service providers to coordinate support activities and infrastructure projects
Support networking, server, hardware, and software initiatives across the organization
Procure and manage IT equipment and technology inventory
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure users have appropriate access and technology resources
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Systems Support
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, and Exchange
Experience supporting enterprise users in a professional environment
Familiarity with SSO technologies and cloud‑based applications
Exposure to networking, server administration, and infrastructure projects
Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with SharePoint
Exposure to SQL
Exposure to AWS cloud services
