Position Overview

The Task Project Manager II is responsible for overseeing specific projects or assigned task scopes within the energy sector, ensuring work is executed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with project plans and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong nuclear industry experience, leadership capability, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional resources while maintaining strict adherence to safety and schedule commitments.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Task Oversight
  • Manage assigned project scopes and task-based initiatives
  • Track project progress against established milestones and deadlines
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory standards and company procedures
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting cost, schedule, or performance
Resource Coordination
  • Coordinate personnel, contractors, and technical resources
  • Monitor workforce productivity and ensure appropriate staffing levels
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all activities comply with nuclear safety standards and regulations.
Reporting & Communication
  • Provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities
  • Communicate effectively with operations, maintenance, engineering, and compliance teams
Required QualificationsEducation
  • High School Diploma AND advanced technical certification such as:
  • Journeyman Card
  • NRC-issued Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License
  • Associate degree (or higher) in an industrial technical field
Experience
  • 610 years of experience managing tasks and projects in the energy sector
  • 5+ years of nuclear industry experience (required)
  • 3+ years of personnel supervision experience (highly recommended)
