We are Lennar, one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to building quality homes and delivering exceptional customer service. We seek an Area Sales Manager to lead sales performance, margin enhancement, and a high‑performing sales team. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a high‑performing sales team, driving accountability and results‑driven culture. Mentor and develop New Home Consultants, setting clear goals and providing coaching. Foster collaborative sales environment with open communication and proactive issue resolution. Conduct performance appraisals and identify development opportunities. Oversee all aspects of the sales department, adapting strategies to products, markets, and customer segments. Visit communities weekly to provide on‑site leadership and refine strategies. Lead and organize promotional events to increase sales opportunities. Facilitate sales meetings to align on goals and reinforce corporate initiatives. Monitor mortgage statuses and manage closing processes for smooth transactions. Collaborate with the Director of Sales to resolve homeowner concerns and adjust market strategies. Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years in residential sales, sales management, or real estate management. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Experience with a homebuilder in New Home Sales strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage conflict professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management software. Physical & Site Presence Requirements
Regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular hours. May require working more than eight hours per day in confined quarters of a construction trailer. Ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 pounds. May require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity required to operate computer keyboard and calculator. Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary range: $45,143 – $108,746, adjusted for qualifications and geography. Eligible for bonuses and commissions. Health, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match up to 5%; Paid Parental Leave; Associate Assistance Plan; Education Assistance Program; up to $30,000 in Adoption Assistance.
